broken

I am the owner of a broken down car.
I know 'who cares', its not a very prestigious club, but I am stuck because I hold on to peices of metal without life in them.They are not easy things to process and get closure from.
I inherited this stange affilation to ferrous objects with wheels. I remember talking with Dad about a particular car the family had and expressing my thoughts on its value and what should be done with it. I said " Its just a bucket of bolts Dad lets take it down the scrapper"
I might as well have been swearing!
Dads reply "Its not a bucket of bolts 'Its a good little car'".
To Dad this car had history and He had developed a realtionship with it that would have been hurt or broken if He had 'betrayed' the car by taking it to the scrap dealer.

Dad had owned many cars but this was a GTE it was the sports model that He brought just prior to meeting my mother and it was our family car for 10 years or more. We had fixed it many times, even rebuilt the engine on the kitchen table, been on family camping holidays, I learnt to drive in it and crashed it the same day. Stuff had happened in that car. As things had broken on it they where not replaced and so in its latter stages it had no carpet or door trims where missing and it was a bit unreliable. But I used to dream at night of restoring its former glory, sometimes I would get out the pieces of trim that had long ago been seperated from there postions on the car and sit them back in place and imagine this machine as new again. It was not to be.
Eventually we found a buyer with a apreciation for what this car was really worth who made promises of restoring it as we had not been able to manage. This was a last a good home to let go of our cherished conveance to safe hands . And so the parting was achieved!

Now I have the same problem again and this is me the same person who has declared many times my desire to be without a car.

What is my problem.

A whole new world, 2012!

Sometimes I think its funny how humans think. We love new things, for example I know I used to love going back to school and getting new exercise books! acres of Fresh clean pages with no mistakes or work I am not fully satsified with. How simple these types of thoughts and pleasures are but how profound and how deep is the need we have the longing to be made perfect. We long for order and rightness we long to be clean.

But sad to say all these things are futile and empty, because if we look at our own history we should know that mistakes and imperfections will come. It is therefore irrational (humanly speaking) to hope for perfection, which is the source of our joy at comtemplating things like new year.
The world is in bad shape economically, environmentally and huge natural disasters are happening all over the planet with alarming freqency. Wars, death, starvation, sickness suffering it all won't disappear just because we get a new calander in a few days time. No mankind wills still carry all these burdens into next year and all the years afterward unless something changes.

Who should we put our hope in who will not fail? Who can make and end of this woefull life and grant us a new life in which these things are but a painful memory, which can be forgotten, instead of an every day reality.

Only the sure promises of our Mighty savior can give us course to trust and a hope that will not fail.
The eternal life He has promised will not be marked by woes and cares of this life, all our tears he promises to wipe away.
This is the new world we long for not new books or new years!
I choose to put my hope in someone, not something and not just anyone or anyman but the only man who has ever delivered completely according to His word. Jesus. Come Lord Jesus come.

Detierch Bonhoffer, a man who stood upon The Rock.

When God gets a hold of a man, When that man gives all of himself to the service of the Master, Powers of good are released through that man that inspire other men for years and years and years.
Even though His life was shortened by forces of evil, the work He was able to achieve touched many and without any self promotion or aggrandisment. He simply walked the course that was layed out for Him without faltering or caving in to fear. Such is the nobility of a son of the living God.

Oh that I would be like Him Lord, that my eyes would see the glory of the coming of the King and yet not fail to notice the beggars by the wayside that cry out in want of the saviour, send me to those whose hearts have been made ready that I may with them prepare a way for the Lord.

Mighty men

What where the mighty men (that King David lead a little futher down the path of history) doing when Golith was making a mockery of Gods people? Where was their might then, surely men who where capabale of despatching 300 men single handed would have not feared one measly Giant. Where did their might come from if they didn't possess it previously.

The fearless Leadership of David (a gift of the Holy Spirit) increased the courage of His men. David was a cataylst, a conduit for the zeal of the spirit and it caught a fire where ever he went. However David was not a self made man and he knew it. He was chief among men at retreating into God. David and his men where formidable, even untouchable force when their leader was walking closely with God. But God was always his source, His was the Power, and the Glory which David expressed so well in many verses.


God chose David because He was the least of His brethern and only a common shepherd. Humility is the key to meekness , or what I call quiet inner strength and Submission to the Highest Authority . Without this strong leaning on the Almighty we shall all fail and fall. God made David and God will make any man who doesn't trust in his own strength but rather in the power of the Holy one to accomplish His will through us.
Let us retreat into God men. Meditate on His Awesme Majesty. Who is like Him who sits on High.

Daily bread

With what shall we fill ourselves today? Today I have food in the cupboard but what of tomorrow?

Questions that plague people the world over? Even wealthy obese westerners are concerned about these although they are readly able to calm their fears with more food which is seldom far away at the moment. Concern over these issues drives people to buy insurance, build storehouses and make their stomach their god.

God however wants us to be content.

How can we be content with all these fears constantly attacking us? BY TRUSTING IN HIM.

If we are afflicted by fears God wants us to turn to Him for comfort. Is he able to comfort us? Has he not provided all our needs according to His riches in Glory?
ABOSOLUTELY.

God hand is not short that He cannot do anything. Nothing is impossible for Him, or us if we will only trust Him.

Today I die, said the Groom.

I attended the wedding of a quiet man.
It was a refreshingly christian wedding. Holiness being held as worth more and of lasting value compared to the cheap, quick pleasure of gratifing the flesh.
At speech time the groom who is a man of few words, told us about Adam being put to sleep so God could remove his rib and He likened this to dying. He went on to say when adam was born again by awakening he was blessed with a wife!
Matt was at the end of His single life and being born again into wedlock. It was without a doubt the most well considered and exellent speech I have ever heard at a wedding. It seemed like a good match so I pray that they will be happy and fruitfull together.

Why Doctrine is not God!

"As high as the heavens are above the earth so high are my thoughts above yours, Says the Lord."

For God knows all the thoughts of man, that they are vain altogether.

Why does any Man rise up, be it individually or collectively in synod or council, and declare what He believes in His mind to be full and final truth. How can anyone be so arrogant.
Its like one drowning man saying to another I feel like the water around me is getting more solid why don't you come this way because surely it is the way of salvation!

This what I believe and I could be wrong, God is knowable because He has revealed Himself, But we still dont know everything, nor will we ever, being finite approching infinite.
However the things that are revealed are not mysterious but plain and easily understood so that even a child can grasp them. That is why men are without excuse everywhere because the Creation reveals all that is necessasary to demand that Man seek to know God.
But some men amongst us have a pastors desire to gather the sheep into a fold, which is good and God given, They follow this course to the next logical step which is to define the inclosure.

This brings us to the doctrines and the undisputed King of doctrines in Western protestant Christianity, The Trinity Doctrine.
He's a really important question, if Doctrines are a work of God and so essential and foundational to the true faith, Why does God not then lay them out clearly in the Bible itself, Why do we require more books, creeds & catechisms ,or extra biblical information and sermonizing to actually get them straight in our heads? Surely sola scripture is all we'll ever need!(BTW I do not belive this but it is the main thrust of the next doctrine in the list 'The sufficency of Scripture', not realising that it contradicts itself!)

some doctrines are not the work of God but of man I say this because the don't come to us outlined in the cannon of scripture. They do not perfectly serve the purposes of God because they are faulty like the the men who wrote them and those who perpetuate them through the ages. That doesn't stop men from being proud of them though, men find it extremely easy to stand back and admire the work of there hands and bask in the warm sunlight of the pride of life. Of course not realising that they have fallen under a shadow in doing so. The only safe action for a believer/servant is to do Gods will and having done it glorfiy the One who willed it done.

In a recent semon I heard a doctirne of Man was being praised as though it was God, I quote " The Glory and the Majesty of the Trinity Doctrine is revealed!"
This coupled with the fact that with the attitude of the speaker seemed similar IMHO to the attitute of Saul as he zealously persecuted Christians, led me to the conclusion that This doctine has become for those who zealously defend it a false God in itself.

I will then reveal my firm foundation, my rock is that Christ Jesus is the Son of the living God.
This is the true foundation and all other ground is sinking sand as the hymn goes. This is not the trinity doctrine you will note. If the trinity doctrine was the bedrock, and keystone on which we should be building the church why did the Holy Spirit not cause Peter to say that "You are one of the persons of the triune Godhead."
He could easily have done this and it would have saved lots of fighting!

The God who created all languages has given us two terms that all men can easily understand and even translate clearly into any language. They are 'Father' and 'Son'. Real simple and with the knowledge of these terms comes the understanding that the former precedes the latter. Yet the trinity Doctrine denies this universal truth, And this is why I know it is false.
Two persons cannot be co-eternal and still rightly be called Father and Son. To do so is to render the terms meaningless. Which is nonsense and I am Absolutely certain that our Great God who ordered the universe so precisely could ever allow Himself to be defined by a nonsense.

I do not deny the Divinity of Christ or His right to be known as God or recieve our worship. But I don't consider God to be anyone's name, Its a title given to Divinity and its because of this that the written word we now possess is confusing espeically in John 1.
As for equality its like a wise man once said,
"All things are equal, it's just that some are more equal than others!"
Jesus is of course equal to the Father but in the same way my wife is equal to me. As it says in 1 Corinthins 15:27-28
For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under [him, it is] manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

The only defense to these glaringly obvious truth's Trinity adherents have is the flight to mystery which doesn't wash with me. There are things I don't expect to understand like the nature of eternity, but I refuse to leave my mind at the door when I come church since I know God wants me to Love Him with all of it!

Water, Water everywhere but not a drop to Drink.

Moree was completely cut of from the outside world for a least two days by flood waters.
The muddy waters went through a particular building and I helped begin the clean up yesterday.
I wonder if this is an answer to my prayers that God would give His church the town of Moree. That this would be and outpost for the Holy Spirit , that the devils be cast out and that no unclean thing would enter the town.
I asked that God would place Sentinels at all the entrances to the town. To ensure that evil spirits aren't able to enter.
The muddy waters are hardly clean. but are they at least spiritually symbolic of the seperation from the world and its 'traffic' in that all the trucks where stopped, the tourist's where way layed and every one paused for a moment. Not many to consider God it has to be said. But I have never seen so many pedestrians and cyclists as when the bridges where closed. The town took on a holiday atmosphere, while they watched what 'mother nature' was doing. Then yesterday when things started opening up the converstaions turned to complaining, people have lost the easy life they had before the flood now they have either lost a few possessions or have some cleaning up to do. But who do they shake their fist at, who recieve's these complaints. Is it 'mother nature' no, no one can get angry with such a matronly false image.
God recieves the wrath of the people who have been put out by this interuption to them continuing their Godless lives unmolested. Instead of dropping to their knees in praise and gratitude for all the days that everything went 'according to plan' they neglect God and reject him entirely until He throws a spanner in the works then they realise they have been neglecting God and so they get angry with him that he has failed to protect them from this calamity, or they accuse him as an evildoer !
unbelieveable.
How great is God's Grace and how deep is His Mercy that He doest just treat us as we deserve and wipe us out right now.

A loving God will not leave sins unjudged

The whole earth cries out to God, groans to him for His Judgement.
I long for his judgement and correction. Because His judgement is just and His decisions are correct. No fault can be found with His Law, it is perfect.

He judges mankind as an act of Love. If God turned His back and refused to attend to our Judgement and punishment we would be destroyed by our own sin.
Perhaps God is more active now than In the recent past because He has relied on the human Governments to carry out His judgements and lock up evil doers.
But times are changed and human Government's are increasingly departing from Gods Law and calling evil Good. This can only invite woe upon us. since if God cannot rely on Human goverment and its forces and services to defend righteousness and punish evil then He himself will have to step in and execute His Judgment directly by His mighty Hand and his outstretched Arm.
This is an exciting time to be alive and witiness God's mavelous Judgement being applied so often that few can miss the awareness that the Spirit of God is angry and he will punish evil doers and uphold His Law.
He himself is enforcing it. We can only stand by and be amazed.
This gives us great opotunites to preach repentance and extol the virtures of God's great Mercy.

Don't allow that anyone should accuse God of evil or injustice. Anyone who tries should be silenced by the fact that all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. Even in the case of an innocent child or a believer who dies God is Sovereign and within His rights to take our loved ones from us at any time of His choosing. He knows better than us when the right time is to take someone home either to himself or to Judgement at no time should we assume we know better than the most high what should happen. Are we capable of taking over his throne and the resposibility thereof? Hardly!
He is the only one worthy to sit in Judgement. All that remains for us is to accecept his judgments Graceously. He Judges us because he loves us. He does not leave us dying in our Sins, but he has revealed His love for us is that He sent his beloved Son to be made the sacrifice for our sins.
Praise be to God our Saviour, now and forever more!

White Ribbon Day

All the comunity services in the world and all the efforts they go to are all in vain because only God can break the power of sin. With out including God in the picture we are all just punching the air and wearing ourselves out for nothing.

I have always had a problem with white ribbon day. I didn't understand what it was but it just didn't sit right with me, obviously not because I believe women should take their punishment. But its the demonising of men as perpatrators that I don't like I think.

I attended the community event today where more of the same message is being promoted and its true and I believe it's getting communicated effectively. The saturation of the government funded message is I think getting through to those who already have ears to hear. It's just that male perpertrated volience against women is not ok ever.

But the laws man has now set up are not Gods laws. we learnt that violence can be verabal or just body language and metal manipulation or financial abuse and women can equally be just as voilent as men when it comes to these. And I won't say always but I would guess most of the time they will have used these 'weapons' against their partners prior to being phyiscally abused by that person then somehow get to play innocent and pure. No way.

Any way God does not say that being beaten is an excuse for divorce or for slaves to leave their masters they must serve their masters wether they are good or bad the same for wives. Till death do us part. However it would depend on the serverity of the abuse as to wether She should stay in the house with him.

The perpertrators are victims to.
They lose control of their rage and end up doing something that most hate and are sorry about afterwards or when they sober up. That is why realionships continue like this because He will usually pled for forgivness and be genuinely heart broken over it, which She will see and forgive until it occurs again and so on.

No one is innocent but men have been demonized by feminists in order to dominate men and control them by accusing them and burdening them with guilt. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. It is sin and its corrupting power that are the true enemy not violent men.
Only Gods grace is sufficent to overcome this . God, let we who trust in your name turn our prayers towards this mountian in Moree. Father God, I pray that you will bring your peace upon us so powerfully that other towns will be envious as to how this transformation took place!

The words of a God made Man.

John Howard. wether you love Him or Hate him he was surely the man of His time.
I have great respect for Him. This are His words when He regained the leadership of the liberal party prior to His election to Prime Minister of Australia.

" I have always believed in an Australia built on reward for individual effort, with a special place of Honor for small business as the engine room of our economy. I've always believed in a safety net for those amongst us who don't make it. I've always believed in the family as the stabilisng and cohering unit of our society. And, I believe very passionately in an Australia drawn from the four corners of the earth, but united behind a common set of Australian values."

When the leader of a nation holds such convictions and is unable to be moved from them that nation will certianly be blessed.

I am reading His book Lazarus Rising now and here is another quote.

" No political leader can convincingly advocate a policy or a set of values unless he or she genuinely believes in them. I believed in every element of 'Future Directions'. It told Australians that I was very much a conviction politician."

Howard is a man of Faith. He is unshakeable because he stands upon the Rock. Let us all be inspired to be likewise men of Steadfastness.

I pray that God will rise up another Humble man of character to lead this nation back to the old pathes.

Giving Sorrow Words.

For me Sorrow is the right emotion. I have always been an outcast I have been betrayed I have failed at many things I have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God.

Life without God, when I wondered away from Him, brought me Sorrow. But I am finding now that we have been reconciled my closeness to the Lord brings me even greater Sorrow, Because now I have His heart. I am not just sorry that my selfish desires are not being meet or sorry I got caught speeding or sorry other people won't do what I want!

The things that make Jesus sad now make me sad. The ravages and destruction of Sin in the lives of people He loves make me sad. The blindness of people makes me sad. Hardness of heart makes me sad. The apostocy in the church makes me sad. sin makes me sad. All this saddness and as one secular band called their album Meloncoly and Infinate Sadness. This is the right respose for me because when we see our loved ones heading for a lost eternity should we rejoice?
A lot of people only want to laugh and have fun. To enjoy life and revel in the many good things we can enjoy especially in the free west. But I seek sorrow. Sorrow is right. In this world that is perishing because of their lack of vision and the hardness of their hearts, Sorrow is the only reponse that is appropriate. Let us weep together, let us shed tears as one and be united in grief.
In the beatitudes Jesus blessed sorrow.
People of God we must fast now, the bridegroom is not now with us and He tarries in His coming let us gather together in sorrow so deep we cannot eat. Let our desire for food be lost in the greater desire to bear oneanothers burdens and break the power of strongholds, yolks and bondages.
When the apostles failed to cast out the demon from the man Jesus said this kind can only be removed by fasting and prayer. When the enemy seems to be gaining territory the only way to force Him back is by gathering the people and especially the elders and calling a solemn assembly. Crying unto the Lord all night, keeping watch through the night until joy comes in the morning.

(this post will only make sense if you have been reading or have read previous posts on the headline topic of this blog, brands and the vast evil thereof!)

Now the wheel has turned,it has come full circle. I the grand master of the indominatable brand buster blogsite am in the processes of creating a brand. BTW if you are thinking of stealing my interlectual property watch out! I guard it jelously. Well you have to in this dog eat dog world lest you begin to sink and become someones lunch! am I right?

Why am I now returning to my vomit? I have no Idea. All I can say is that personally I have retired from the judicary and have hung up my wig! So to any casual observer who might be temped to judge me a hipocrate I beg you for your own sake let God be my judge. I have been eating humble pie a lot lately and I like the taste! I am now no longer afraid to be proven wrong. My words might seem to be falling to the Ground but I think that its not like these my cherished Ideals were all wrong but simply that I had made an Idol of them. I have now discovered the God's law is much higher than the statutes of a mere mortal man.

I have made these 'little names' and now can I possibly promote them without makeing a fully fledged brand with embossed logo's and sea's of packaging? I don't know at this point I will this very night put this before the Lord and pray His wisdom upon my simpleness. In the process of writing this I am deciding against any form of marketing baring plain print and verbal. I will trust God that the wisdom he first imparted to me, concerning the Godlessness of endless self promotion and one uping that makes the worlds version of success, was correct. I'll let 'word of mouth' the enjoyment of the beauty that God has blessed us with be my tools of trade and hopefully save alot of money in doing it this way. May God be with me and establish the work of my hands that it might glorify Him.

Under the Blood.

I once went to a meeting at what at the time seemed a strange place where as we entered the house signs on the door post stated you are now passing under the blood!
I think from recollection they hosts also pled the blood over us as we proceded into the room. I can't remember what the rest of the meeting was like I was obviously shell shocked by my first impressions this unusual style of gathering. Under the blood.
I would be a lot better prepared now to understand the 'maddness' of these people because I am now mature. We are in a battle to the death and these people where what I call 'striving' to prevent unclean spirits from entering their haven from the battle zone.
Striving is where we as followers of Christ attempt to assist the work that the Holy spirit is doing in us and through us and when we do this it always will come across to others as over the top. They will be best case put off, worst case totally inoculated against the Gospel, depending on the situation and how much over the top we go!

In order to win someone's heart the Holy Spirit must woo them with His Holiness.
When we come between this process the candidate will not percieve holiness but they will feel manipulated like we are trying to trap them. And they will most likely flee away.

As far as the above senario goes, Of course we should ask the Lord to seal our Homes with His precious blood over the gates etc but I seriously doubt if going to the 'effort' of making signs and painting red paint on the door jam will be a fruitful endevor. Its using 'flesh' means to achieve 'spiritual' goals which is futile. If we ever want sinners to come to our home we must not do or say or have any article in the house that we aren't directed to by the Holy spirit. If we do the fish may well get off the line and that person will miss a vital opotunity to connect with our source of eternal life Chirst Jesus.

False doctrine

What is the scared cow of your denomination? Why is the church so powerless in the west? How come alot of Christians despise Jehova's Witness'es to the point of rudeness? Why is it so easy to replace the law of God with the traditions of man?
A lot of questions one answer false doctine. The church still requires prophets in this age because of False doctine. False doctrine leads to idolatry, sectaranism, divisions, deception apostasy. Its a pretty major problem. Things always start in a promising way then go astry, then another reformer will rise up to lead people back to the true way then that movement will go astray and so on.

Of course not everyone will be reformed so the false way will continue as well which will gather more people to it 'the blind leading the blind'. Each denomination then have synods etc to decide politically what they stand for then they establish these truths as bed rock ie 'on this rock I will build my church and the gates of Hell will not prevail against it'.

Then they establish colleages to train ministers in these unshakable truthes and so propagate their understanding and consolidate their fiefdoms.

The trouble is that unless the Lord builds the house they labour in vain who build it!
The scripture still cry's out everywhere for us to love the Lord with all our heart and lean not on own own individual or collective understanding.
God desires unity in His family, oneness. So what is the only true way and why can't we all descover it and agree and be in unity. False doctrine.
The rocks we are building on are not "The Rock". False doctrine.

Here is the biggest sacred cow that I know of . At least one man has been martyred for this probally many.

The trinity Doctrine. False.
Calvin killed a man because He tried to save others from this lie. But alas the pharisee's achieved their goal suppressed the truth in unrighteousness. Now over a 150 yrs latter this falsehood is the number one rock onto which many denominations have been built. Why does the church lack the power and blessing of God in the west. false Doctrine. The power of a lie is vast. Many denominations have been built on faulty foundations and need to repent and go back to the true Rock Christ Jesus son of the Living God.
He is the son, not the twin brother of the Father. The truth is so simple that the wise and learned cannot grasp it. Christ has never presumed equality with the Father so why do we ascribe it to Him. Are we wiser in our own eyes than the Son of God? Divinity made flesh?
Some have pointed to Chirst excepting from Thomas the title God, as a proof of the trinity. Jesus is God for us, he created us with the Father and it pleased the Father to make Him everything to us, our only access to God is through Him we can not go over our Head he has total authority. It is He who holds each of us in His hand. But Christ never Has nor ever will surpass His Father and His God.The most High
In order to actually be a Father the Allmighty must have preceded His son so they can't possibly be co-eternal.
God is not a man that he should lie. Is Jesus his son or his twin brother?
If you have no answer for this obvious question then you have been blinded by the orchestrated lintany of lies that is the 'mystery of the Trinity' .
So deep is this mystery that men need to study for years to come to understand it and yet it is still shrouded in dark halls of shadow.
God is not a God of confusion. The things that are reveled are plain and simple, why does it have to be comlicated? So the preisthood can continue to maintain there high position? persist to gain followers and dominion for themselves by making them believe a lie?
No God and His Son are not equals in authority, they are in Divinity but they are like a Husband and wife in terms of authority. But we men are all equal before God. No other name is to be lifed up but the name of the saviour. We are to call no man Father. He wants to relate to each of us personally with no need of a mediator. Face to face as a friend. He did this with Moses and He wants to do it with us all. Away with the brood of vipers, away with the wolves. Let the sheep follow the shepherd.

Humility

Have you ever preached against something for years then find yourself forced to admit you where wrong? This is what happened to me yesterday. The process of being humbled by God is not always pleasant. However finding yourself at rock bottom is good in that the only way to look is up, to heaven for help. We can't possibly be to humble, after all Jesus the Lord of heaven and earth humbled himself to become flesh, and be nailed to the cross for our sake!

Humility has great benefit's. Moses the most humble man on the face of the earth in his time spoke to God face to face as a friend. He also counseled and persuaded God to repent of His fierce judgement on the children of Israel. A humble man has power in the Holy spirit to do great things. so though He slay me yet I will praise Him!

servanthood

Debt is a bondage. as an honest person, a follower of the Lord we must repay our debts and not default if it within our power to pay or we have any assets to sell in order to make payment. However according to the law of Moses a man deeply in dept had the God sanctioned option of selling himself into slavery (or a member of his family however that would be very gutless thing for a man to do). The buyer then would take responsiblity for the Dept and pay it out. But the buyer was then the legal owner of the slave, He became His property.

I do not believe that this is wrong. The kind of slavery that was abolished by western governments, were Africans or people from other nations were kidnapped and forced into slavery, is an offence in the law of Moses and punishable by stoning of the traders. There is a distinction between them. Hebrew male slaves were to be released after six years and that is because of the Jubilee this is a merciful plan a redemptive plan. What a wonderful God we serve.

I believe that all people are equal but those who fall into dept need to have consequences, and those who find them selves owners of slaves need to treat there slaves with dignity in the sight of God who owns us all and planned in eternity to create us as free men with only one law to obey. Always love Him with all your Heart.

The cares of this world.

In the parable of the sower the seed that fell among thorny ground sprouted and grew well at first but Jesus said that thorns and weeds sprung up and choked out the plants before they could produce the desired result. This could be a stumbling block for many Christian men because they have the burden of providing not only for their families but also for employee's if they have workers or they are ministers that watch over a flock and are ever concerned for them.

Responsibilty. Anybody who makes decisions on behalf of others takes responsibilty for those decisions and therefore the blame if something goes wrong. That is the reason that many men fear responsibilty and may prefer to be working in a job for wages that following their dream and starting their own small business. They can then off load a lot of resposibilty onto their boss which removes a need for themselves to take a risk and start on a journey the will lead them into maturity and full production. God our father has induded each of us with many gifts and talents for which He expects usefulness and a return on His investment. He expects us to take domminion and establish ourselves through hard work and good character. Idilness and immaturity do not please the Lord. Let us not be slack in our doing because He promises that He will prosper us if we remain faithful in all His word, not envying what another man my have but using just what we have in our hands to the maximum advantage. Our domminion and prosperity will then be a witness to other neighbours around about us for which we must give all the Glory to God or be lost to the deceitfulness of riches. If the Lord does bless and prosper us we must never be lifted up in our hearts and forget the rock of our salvation. We must never get carried away with building kingdoms for ourselves either because we do not even own ourselves, everything belongs to Christ, especially those of us who have surrendered our lives already, and thus everything we do now is as his servants and is for the building up of the kingdom of God. Let us make His name great in the earth, through our obedience and diligence.

Sometimes though things get away from our control and go pear shaped, this can leave the man in responsibility in a uncomfortable position. He may experience sleeplessness. Worry and anxiety are the enemies tools and can easy cut off our relationship to the Father. Then we are like woundering restless vagabonds with no home to call our own, when in fellowship with the Father we have a home in heaven and Rest .

Matt 6 deals well with this to of course. Those whom the Lord loves He grants rest. We must learn to roll our cares over onto Him because if we try to carry them ourslves we will be crushed by the weight of them!

The father will say to that faithful ones on the glad day we meet Him

“Well done good and faithful servant now enter into my Rest.”

This does not neccesarily mean sleep because we can be at peace while awake. The peace that passes understanding should be our dwelling place day and night, waking or sleeping.

I pray that you reader will know peace with God, and be able to retreat when ever the world pushes in and begins to rob you of your inheiritance, to that quiet place away from the rat race where He will restore your peace with sweet one on one communion with the Himself the Master of the Universe!

A new beginning.

Each day is one. As the birds sing their hearts out each morning our minds fill with wonder at the blank canvas God has once again provided for us on which to write history. Let each Day begin as it should, with hearts full of praise let us arise to Glorfy God today and serve Him gladly.

What every Christian woman (and man) wants.

A life of comfort and ease, filled will leisures and pleasures inumerable. In a word Blessing.

The words of a prophetess Irene Gleeson ring true.

“ People in the west care only about keeping their bodies fat and warm!”

But what has God given us? hardship and frustrations, toil , pain and sorrow. In a few words a Cross.

“A servant is not greater than His Master. If they hated me they will hate you.”

“He was despised, a man of sorrows and aquinted with greifs”

“For the Joy set brfore him, Christ endured the Cross.”

Have you ever been reading a book and skipped to the end to get to the happy ending. Thats what a lot of the people want to do in their Christian jounery, just give the middle a miss. Unfortunately in the case of the Bible the centre of the book is unmissable. Miss it and you miss everything. Its even usually printed on the front cover, heathens are so offended by it they never draw near to God. They seem to understand even by looking at the guilded symbol on the cover that before every follower of God lies a unpleasant and uncomfortable cross. There is no way around it. And no eascape from it. Not for christ and not for us.

What does it mean to take up your cross daily? The cross is suffering, being prepared to suffer daily for christ's name. Here is a verse from a song the Lord gave me,

Let me not be ashamed

to stand for you name

in the courts of the heathen

and the mockers.

For the honor of your name

for the Glory of your name

I offer my life again.

The name of the Lord is the most valuable thing in this world. It is the pearl of greatest price.

If we start to speak in defense of the name of Christ where ever it is being profaned, we will begin to meet opposition, and the intensity of this opposition will increase as we keep on doing this until we know what suffering is. At this point do we cease? No we must continue and press on we must defend his honor to the death if nessasary, there is No turning back, No turning back. We must give our utmost for His highest!

But the good news is the cross is not the end but a new beginning. If we remain faithfull to the end we will know fully the Joy of the Lord and enter into the place the Father has been preparing for us.

Peace and Restfullness without end shall be our inheirtence. Praise be to His name.

“There is a way which seems right to a man but the end thereof is death”.

If we think that getting saved is all that needs to happen we are mistaken, in the path to eternal life for every believer (except those saved only by the skin of there teeth!)is a cross that we must take up daily. Sorrow must come before Joy. Expecting to bypass our cross and enter the blessing now is foolishness and is definitely a snake and not a ladder!!Woe to those who try to enter the sheep fold except by the door.

Filled or empty , mixed or pure.

As a vessel a man is designed by God to be filled with things. But God doesn't like mixtures, he desires that we be filled with only one kind of thing. Just the same way as he desires that we devote our whole heart to him and not be half hearted. We can not love God and mammon, we must love one and hate the other. Just so we must be a vessel of honor or dishonor, filled with love for God or the world.

When cooking we mix things, recipes are mixtures of things. In the same way as we take raw (God made) ingredients and react them together to get a new (man made) thing. As we take a raw stone and fashion it, grave it into a new image. It is as though God seems to despise things made with our hands and it is interesting that man is the only creature that the scriptures speak of as being formed with His Hands. It also gives us the picture of a potter, forming things from the 'dust of the earth'.

With the rest of creation it seems that He spoke and it came to pass, He commanded and it stood fast without 'manual' labour. It is obvious that man is the pinnicle of creation. And nowhere else in the scriptures does it speak of the nitty gritty of how the thing came to be as it does in Genesis 2 about how man and woman where made, formed from the dust of the earth and then He “breathed into his nostrils the breath of life”. Man is obviously a special work in creation and the rest of creation seems to suit man, be made for him to take dominion of.

We are commanded not to make graven images and idols but God has made in man a image of Himself in pottery.

As a pot we can either be filled or empty. But obviously the purpose of a pot is to be filled with something. Interesting side note is that allthough pots generally are designed to be filled, cooking pots do spend most of their time empty on the shelf. However if a pot has been filled with a mixture of things then it must first be emptied before it can be filled with a pure thing.

The best way for us to be emptied is to fast and repent of our sin. In order for us to become “vessel's of honor” it is nessasary to reset, to be cleaned by a time of fasting and sorrow for our sins. When we have been made clean we may be filled with the holy spirit. Which of course is the desire of God and the purpose for which he made us as vessels, in order to be filled by His Spirit.

Why did the enemy come to Jesus while he was fasting in the desert?. Because he realised that this was a man who was emptying Himself in order to be filled with the Holy spirit and this emptyness created an opotunity for the unclean spirit as well. The devil wants us to be filled with uncleaness just as He is. He certainly wanted this for the saviour of the world. But any man who is filled with the Holy spirit is just as dangerous. Since a man being filled to the brim with a clean spirit will not just remain full in himself but overflow that clean spirit where ever he goes, out of him will flow rivers of living water!

This makes fasting/repentance important because a man who is filled with a mixture of spirits clean and unclean will not overflow a pure spirit but a tainted one. In the example of drinking water in different places, that slightly different taint in the taste of the water than what one is used to is usually enough for a person to reject the water and keep looking for something pure. Just the same way a tainted spirit will be rejected. We must be made clean so Gods spirit in us is not rejected.

As for the food and cooking there are still clean foods and unclean God has decleared somethings as unclean for an everlasting statue, for instance the blood and fat of animals, unclean for ever. Never eat them if you want to be clean. Also all the food laws in the bible still should be a guide because the foods where declared unclean for a reason, usually to do with what the animal would eat in the wild like pigs for instance will eat anything in the wild including the carcasses of dead animials, there own offspring, guts and intestines which are unclean. Poo is unclean. It seems to obvious to state but some people are to blind to realise this, anything made with intestines like sausages which will usually also contain chunks of fat that melts and infuses the other contents (what ever they are) so sausages are doubly unclean. (It hurts me to write this as snags used to be one of my favorite foods.)

Custateans eat the waste products of other sea creatres off the bottom of the sea floor, they are bottom feeders. These things are so obvious but we have still forgotten them. Fisherman talk about bottom feeders as being unworthy, people insult other people by calling them bottom feeders but still we are eating off the bottom. Bottoms are unclean. Soil is also unclean, that is why we call dirty things soiled. Root vegetables are not clean then because they grow under the surface. Still not sure on that one but Genesis says that man was given the fruit of the trees, bushes and vines and grains for food and the animals the grass and leafy green plants. Generally speaking thing under the surface of the ground are not clean i.e. coffins with dead bodies in them, hell, pits etc so perhaps this is true of root veges. Like I said the jury is still out on that one. It also might have to do with the intelligence of the animal for instance horses, dolphins and whale,s dogs and cats. But cannibalistic animals, animals that clean their nether regions with their tounge etc must be unclean!

This might be seen as legalistic as Acts 10 and 11 cleansed all foods as long as they be eaten with thanksgiving, and Jesus himself said that “nothing which goes into a man can defile him but that which comes out”, he was refering to the overflow of the heart. If the heart or mind is evil then evil will be the overflow from his mouth. We are under grace now and not saved by the law however christ himself is never said to have eaten any unclean food as he came to forfill the law and the pharasies would of accused him of it if He had. So should we throw out the law as our guide of which Jesus said not one jot or title shall pass away until all things are forfilled. Are we not under grace so that we may be brought into conformity with the law without being condemed by it in the process?

Acts 10,11 used a vision of unclean animals to show Peter than gentiles had been made clean.

“What God has made clean let no man call unclean” that is not what I am trying to do. If we are fighting the battle in the mind and God is sanitifying our thoughts speech and de'eds then that being taken care of as primary is it not appropriate to santify our bodies also that we may be wholly seperated unto God? God even gave a law that all poo must be buried outside the camp because I didn't wish to encounter it as He walked through camp this another reason that fasting purifies us because it's that which comes out of us that defiles us. If we do not eat then nothing unclean will come out the back passage either and thus it will not defile us, simple.

Dead things are unclean. We eat the flesh of dead animals but it must have been slaughtered correctly to drain the blood out or it will be unclean. We shouldn't eat an animal that is sick or died of old age and so on obvious stuff. The work of undertaking is unclean because Jesus said let the dead bury the dead.

I believe that God desires all of our lives. That we can be in the world but not have the world in us. Let us be partakers of one spirit and live our lives 100% seperated unto God our saviour.Amen.

Vision

I am doing a course in Agribusiness Finance. The work today was about setting goals and developing vision for the future. They say it helps to write these things down rather than just keeping them in your head. Any way my vision was to develop a means of supporting my now rather large family while at the same time being able to have the time to spend with them to mentor them and teach them Gods ways. This is a compromise as I know if we want to be financially successful family working together cannot be the worlds way and therefore we may not live as well as we currently do but this doesn't frighten me, my wife maybe a little but it's a risk we need to take to follow what God is calling us to, I believe.

Making families strong

You know what one of the worlds biggest problem's is . Its every man/woman for themselves. This clearly is not the way we were created to live. Living this way makes this planet seem to small. This is because when every individual is singly pursuing there own personal pleasure and mammon there just isn't enough to go around, almost as if the is a supernatural lack created. The individual is not the smallest unit in a community/society/nation the family is. We need make this obvious in the building of a re formative Christian community, its not going to work if everybody just looks after themselves. Families don't work that way families are about being together and sharing co-operating etc. For this to work the family needs a leader and that leader has to have a vision. The wife my have the greatest struggle but clearly she must be willing to lay aside her own aspirations to concede to her Husband will The children need to be trained to honor there parents, put GOD FIRST , others second and themselves last. The Husband himself is not only the master of the family but its servant, pouring out His life for his wife and children. This will then produce the basic building blocks on which to build a civil society as the healthy families can reach out to widows and orphans around them and take in members of broken families. There should not be any singles out there. To put it in economic terms we simply can't afford singles, they consume to many resources and produce nothing as the produce God is looking for is Godly offspring. As part of a family everyone has a role in producing the crop.

Supposed to be doing something else

This blog site baddly needs a post so since its been nealy a year Im worried that all my followers that hang on my every word will be losing interest so here it is. Trying to decide if I should continue with my course that is of little practical interest to me but I should probally finish it just because I started it and it cost us $700 it is opotunity to learn more about he murky world of Finance where we learn we can't trust people to tell us the truth, I wonder why? So we need to read between the lines and discover what is the truth hidden in these finacial statments. wouldn't the world be a better place if everyone was just honest?
