Fullness

The most common feeling of fullness in this life comes when we over indulge in food. The flesh makes the calculation that if food is good then more food must be better. And this is true for one small part of the body, the taste buds! However the rest of the body must carry the burden of excess consumption.
When I say burden I am reminded that as a 'tramper' (hiker or bush walker) the most light footed experience comes with a light pack (burden), heaviness generally keeps us weighted down to the earth, when in our hearts we would love to soar with the eagles.

There is a fullness that does actually reduces the force of gravity on our beings. Joy.
And there is a food can fill us with joy. The Bread of Heaven.

Guide me, O thou great Jehovah,
Pilgrim through this barren land;
I am weak, but thou art mighty;
Hold me with thy powerful hand:
Bread of heaven, bread of heaven
Feed me now and evermore.
Feed me now and evermore.
Open thou the crystal fountain
Whence the healing stream shall flow;
Let the fiery, cloudy pillar
Lead me all my journey through:
Strong deliverer, strong deliverer
Be thou still my strength and shield.
Be thou still my strength and shield.
When I tread the verge of Jordan,
Bid my anxious fears subside;
Death of death, and hell’s destruction,
Land me safe on Canaan’s side:
Songs of praises, songs of praises
I will ever give to thee.
I will ever give to thee.

I actually thought the lyrics where 'Feed me till I want no more'  thus I am full. But the idea is similar because this fullness means that we will not hunger evermore, or thirst.

Christ gave His life so that we can eat and drink of Him. And therefore live eternally.

Joy and peace are similar, Peace is pure contentment lacking no good thing nor fearing the loss of such. Joy is the completeness  and security of knowing our place is sure in Christ and that we can enjoy His fellowship now and evermore.

Psalm 16

New King James Version (NKJV)

The Hope of the Faithful, and the Messiah’s Victory

A Michtam of David.

16 Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust.
O my soul, you have said to the Lord,
“You are my Lord,
My goodness is nothing apart from You.”
As for the saints who are on the earth,
“They are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.”
Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god;
Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer,
Nor take up their names on my lips.
Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup;
You maintain my lot.

The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places;
Yes, I have a good inheritance.
I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel;
My heart also instructs me in the night seasons.

I have set the Lord always before me;
Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.
Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices;
My flesh also will rest in hope.
10 For You will not leave my soul in Sheol,
Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.
11 You will show me the path of life;
In Yours presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Its all here. The entire Gospel of our Mighty Deliverer

Verse 5 is what I have been talking about above O Lord you are my food and drink my, my place, eternal securer and my sustain-er. Also my Redeemer as expressed in vs 2  'I am not good or Holy',' I cannot merit my own salvation' but  "you will not leave my soul in Sheol" vs 10.

Vs 7 Speaks of night seasons or periods of darkness in which we receive instruction. I might be just coming to the end of one of these 'tunnel's' other wise know as depression, black cloud, black dog etc. but there is a light at the end. And as we know we never appreciate wellness as much as after being healed of some illness, or we never appreciate a house until ours is burned to the ground, so we never really love The Light of the World until we have been without Him by wondering into darkness.

 I sought no help other than seeking the aid of the Great Counselor  and by His Grace I heard his voice calling me back. The Good Shepherd called and I knew His voice and followed Him back to the paths of Life and refreshing waters. Although I would not choose to go though that again, I know that I love Him more now, I depend on Him more and trust Him more deeply than ever. He really is my strength and my righteousness  He really is my All.

So I have been piggybacking off the inspiration of others by listening to uplifting sermons and singing. But lately I am so full  of joy, That I need to spend hours thanking the Lord and talking with Him One
 on one. Its a wonderful season that I pray will produce lasting fruit in my life, and that I can share my joy with those about me.

The victor will divide the spoil

Princes and nobles come into wealth and positon by pledging loyalty to a powerful sovereign. When a sovereign takes control of a territory wether by seccession or by conquest he divides the land between His princes according to the faifulness they have shown.

This is the way of kings of the earth and empires. How is the Kingdom of God different.

God is Almighty. He has created and he can easily destroy all creation.He has showed this with the global flood and He could have just kept on doing this over and over but He had a more excellent way.
One angel slew 185,000 in one night, all the powers of the elements are in his hands, even the earth and the universe. There is nothing God can not do.

So God has not choosen to conquer by might since this is easy for Him but not lasting since people all to quicky forget the mighty works He has done and fall away.

Who is more grand or is arrayed in greater splendor than God. What is lacking from
the beauty of his heaven. Do not the evening sky or starry night display this. The glory of God is so great he must hide himself from his unclean subjects lest we see Him and die!!

God lacks no Good thing that he could desire in terms of material things but He does not buy His way to power as money and wealth corrupt every man or women that possess them. If God chose this as a method of taking back control then he could not use men because they are always dececived by them.

Why do christians chase money and power the since God has not blessed these that the world loves so well.

Jesus showed us the way. The most highly favored and Loved of all Gods universe, humbled Himself to be found in flesh and live a life not marked by either of the above which He had known no limit of in heaven. Instead He suffered rejection, and derision, and death on a cross like a criminal. He subjected Himself to the will of the Father completely, to the end of Himself.

The fathers will is that what we have we give, Jesus had the power ot Heal he gave it to all who asked of Him, when he had bread he gave it and he gave his life for the sins of many.

Humility is the way the only way to gain the joys of heaven, no puffed up thing can enter since the King has already lowered himself beyond all others to gain our salvation. How should we approach the throne of Grace? clothed in our own merit?What folly.

This is the offense of the cross. Unbelievers can not get this. How could the Lord stoop so low for such unworthy subjects. This is the Love of God. May his kingdom endure for ever, (I know it will but I still want it to since he alone is worthy to rule) All the earth can not compare with knowing Him, and the power of His resurection.

Judah shall prevail

Ever wonder why God has choosen one or the other person to be part of the messianic line.

I guess we are destined to keep wondering on this count until He chooses to reveal more to us perhaps in eternity. However we know that God does choose and He does so not according to the tradition of men (Even those tradition's that have come from Him) because He overlooks firstborn's and pure gentic lines and the like and looks on the heart.

He also shows favor to those who the world does not favor. Such as Leah, she was not wellfavored as the scripture speaks of Rachel, but God saw that Leah was hated, so he opened Her womb while Rachel remained barren.

I was searcing in Genesis for a reason why God choose Levi as the Father of the preistly Line.
Jacoab (who was choosen against tradition and His fathers wishes) over looked Rueben(firstborn),Simieon & Levi because they had made mistakes for which he could not forgive them. Simeon and Levi had 'taken the law into there own hands' and slaughtered the men of Shechem. This was a zealous act for which they where not recorded as having sought the Lords will. Therefore Jacoab blessed Judah as the ruler of His breathen until Shiloh comes, comparing Him to a Lion. God honored Jacoabs choice but Levi was still honored because the Law came through Him and it was to him that the preistly office was bestowed and not Simeon. Ruben muffed it so I can understand his being rejected.

It was in Judah that all three offices of God government combined in 'Shiloh' the one in whom the gathering of the people shall be. Salvation did not come through Levi (the Law) or a prophet(Elijah) or a king (Judah) but perfect combination of all three Christ kept the Law , forfilled the words of the prophets, and took up His rightful place on the throne of David son of Judah.

Frog in a pot

There is a certian ladies magazine, that latest edition has a cover photo of a NAKED WOMAN on it.
Thats right people a NAKED WOMAN. No shame on her face, shes done nothing wrong in her own mind, probally got payed well for her trouble. To have thousands of images of yournakedself sent out to all corners of the globe hardly rasises an eyebrow. Perfectly normal we are lead to believe. As far as modesty goes this generation wouldn't know it if it hit them in the face. They are unconscious of their nakedness. They have no shame.

So be the ways of unbelievers but followers of Christ ,women and daughters of must be as different as night and day. That is, let us not be dressing as people of the night, since we belong to the day. If you realise that you are a frog in a pot and the water is getting hotter awake up and jump out.
God will hold us accountable for everything we wear and the thoughts and intentions of our heart. If it is our desire to gain more attention or power or advantage through what we are wearing (or not wearing as the case may be) this will not be pleasing to him, there is no covering (material) to hide us from God, we are all naked before him, He searches our hearts it see if they contain guile. And if we would rob Him of his Glory by drawing glory for ourselves either with our bodies and what we wear, or though our talents and gifts that he has given us.

There is only one covering from the holiness of God that is the righteousness of Jesus without this and the grace to be santified into it we would never see the LORD of holiness.

Be not conformed to the pattern of this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Lady and the Tramp

Remember if you will the proud speech of 'the tramp' where he says " I will wear no mans collar!"
I guess brand freedom blog smacks of the same sentiments, But remember what happened at the end of the movie, He wore it happily.

People aren't Dogs and dogs don't talk either I mention this by way of reality check, but we must submit to Christ since every knee shall bow to Him, I'm just glad mine is bowing now while it is still day, I am hopefully wearing the seal of the Holy Spirit now since I have been brought with a price.

This is the thing though as Jesus said; My yolk is easy and burden is light

What a wonderful Savior!

Reconciliation

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 1 peter 3:18

And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. 1 corinthians 15

For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1 tim 2:5

And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 2 corinthinans 5:18

I don't know if I can find a scripture to support my exact doctrine here but my thesis is this:

'The work of Christ is to bring us to the Father and therefore the Father is God.'

The ancient Jews believed in one true God, the difficulty they had was believing that Jesus was Gods Son. Because he did things like forgive sin and alike they judged Him blasphmeous.

That is not the problem for trinitarians. they believe in the Son but they also know of the first Commandment that "thou shall have no other gods before me." So since Jesus is most certianly a divine being and and some ways god, 'there can be only one'. (to quote the highlander movie) so they are forced to create a three headed monster God who is 'One' as the scriptures say.

there are many gods though, the title god can be used of men, angels, devils, false gods , Jesus and God most High the commandment says

"thou shall have on other gods before me."

So this just tells us the The Most High God has no equal and now that Jesus sits on the throne of the Father it does not imply the the Father has abdercated . Jesus sits at his right hand, a subordinate position.

We can worship Jesus as the faithful servant of the most high, as the Son of God, as the lamb that was slain , as our saviour , high priest, king, prophet, divine ,even god. But he is not nor ever will be GOD.

Jesus discipled men, they followed him, they where baptised into Christ but we are joined into Christ in order to be joined into Him that sent Christ. We are restored in Chirst to a right relationship to the Father.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

Our ultimate destiny is to come to the Father and Jesus the servant of his Father is the only means of us to arrive at this exalted apointment. Jesus no where claims equality with God. And all the weight of scripture shows us that Jesus was fully submitted to the Father and from all we know of scripture inculding 1 corinthians 15 this is an eternal arrangement with no end in sight. The LORD is God and He is one. This LORD is the Father.
When the scriptures speak of oneness of the Father and Son, they are talking about the perfect union of their distinct wills into agreement. This is possible because Jesus summitted to His Fathers will. At Gethsemine he prayed "If possible let this cup pass from me, nevertheless NOT MY WILL BUT THINE BE DONE".

If Jesus is very God how can the above make any sense? is Jesus/God stuggling within Himself for our sake alone or for show? I say No Jesus is defering to a Higher authority and therefore a Greater one. He was looking for another option than the disgrace and suffering of the cross but He knew there wasn't one so He surrendered Himself to His Fathers will.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, so that whoever believeth in him might not perish but have ever lasting life.

It pleased the LORD to bruise him.

God gave up his Son to become the object of His own wrath against the sins of all mankind.

How can one God be both the punisher and object of the punishment?

How can God, 'The ancient of Days' Die? Or taste death?

These are the nonsenses created by the manipulation that is called Trinity.

It simply cant be reconciled with the truth.

When a churchman has a theological problem he writes a doctrine to solve it. The problem is the this newly created solution causes a multiplicity of new problems which must be then sidelined or marginalized and exponents of inquiry into these new problems surpressed or banished or otherwise silenced lest the folly of his work be exposed.

And that is why we still have a trinity doctrine prvailing.

Go, Stand, Speak.

Today as I read the first chapter of proverbs God spoke to me through verse 20.

Wisdom calls aloud outside in the streets, she cries in the chief concourses and in the gates of the city she says outloud.....

I have felt called to do this for a long time now but so far have not been able.

But today's reading galvanised me into a conviction that this year I will begin to make His gospel known it every passer by because I can't contain this truth I know, it must be poured out like a fountain. It is as though I knew where the fountian of eteranl life is and I only need to let others know so they to can drink of its life giving waters!

I saw a mother yesterday run quicky when she saw her toddler closely watching a fast moving swing. The baby didn't see the danger, but the mother did see had probally see children sconed a few times by swings, so she had to act quickly to protect her child from a nasty blow.

Well whats my point, spending eternity with out the Lord banished from His presence is a lot worse than getting hit by a swing! How much more quickly should I move to warn the simple of the dangerous end that lies on the path they are currently walking on? Should I avert my attention while they stumble blindly on? I would rather die than do this.
Oh great mighty God give me the strength to overcome the fear of man and lust of the eyes which tempt me and defiles me. Blessed is the man whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered! .... In whose spirit there is no Guile.
